Project: Khanh Hoa People Speak English

Ms. Bui Thu Dung serves as Project Director of the “English for Khanh Hoa People” Project, in the Agile & Innovation Center (dung.bt@vinuni.edu.vn).
Ms. Dung possesses a Master of Human Resources Management from the US in 2008, a Bachelor of Economics from Hanoi Economic University in 1998, and a Bachelor of Arts major in English and Russian from Hanoi National University of Vietnam in 1994.

In the last 28 years, she has been working for private, development companies as well as public sectors in many big corporates, commercial banks, development projects, NGOs, and International Organizations, both in Vietnam and overseas. She has held different management positions such as HR Director at Vinmec Healthcare System, Marie Stopes International (UK NGO), SNV Asia…; Director of Learning Academy for VP Bank, Maritime Bank, TNG Holdings Vietnam, HBI; Senior Consultant in HR and Training for WHO Western Pacific Regional Office in Manila, Philippines, T&C Consulting Company, DANIDA funded project, WB, ADB, UN, EC/EU, UNDP projects…etc.

Ms. Dung is a real practitioner who has extensive working experience in different sectors such as Education, Banking and finance, Real Estate, Healthcare, Garment and Textile, Hospitality, Seafood sector, Climate change, Renewable Energy, Agriculture, Tourism, Water and sanitation, Services, Trading…etc.
Countries of experiences including Philippines, Bhutan, Nepal, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, UK, Indonesia, Kenya (of which 02 years expat in Manila, Philippines for WHO – Western Pacific Regional Office as senior advisor for Region HR Reform).
