Dr. Dinh Anh Tuan received the bachelor’s degree in economics from National Economics University, Vietnam, in 2012, then was awarded the Master of Management from The University of Auckland, New Zealand in 2015, and PhD in social innovation from University of Northampton, United Kingdom in 2023.

He has directed and managed several projects focusing on fostering innovation in the higher education sector sponsored and partnered with World University Service of Canada (IGNI+E, 2023), the US Embassy in Hanoi (YSEALI Regional Workshop, 2023), Sungkyunkwan University, Korea (Global Social Entrepreneurship Project, 2022), British Council (Social Innovation Linkages for Knowledge Exchange Network, 2022). He oversaw Professional and Personal Development activities as a member of the Standing Committee of the Youth Union for more than 20,000 students at National Economics University from 2017 to 2018 and acted as the founding advisor of the innovation and startup student club named Dynamic – Future Founders. Another area Dr. Dinh has worked on was university rankings and accreditation. He led the project for three years at National Economics University to participate in Times Higher Education’s Impact Rankings.

Before joining AIC, he was a lecturer in responsible business strategy and strategic management for technology and innovation at National Economics University, Vietnam. He used to work as Partnership Assessment and Quality Coordinator and then Partnership Curriculum Leader at University of Northampton to ensure the alignment of teaching quality in MBA program at partner institutions to the university’s achieved level of Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) (2019-2021).

Dr. Dinh was among thirties scholars receiving New Zealand ASEAN Scholar Awards in 2014, then received the ‘Recognition of active role in New Zealand alumni events & contribution to the New Zealand – Vietnam friendship’ by the New Zealand Ambassador to Vietnam in 2018.
