Green Transformation, Green Growth Leadership Training for Nha Trang City
On May 2-3, 2024, a team of experts from the Nha Trang Green Transformation and Growth Master Plan conducted a visit to Nha Trang to deliver a training program for the city’s leaders. This was the first training session for Nha Trang leaders to be delivered, focusing on the module: “Improving the public administration capacity for leaders of Nha Trang City in implementing programs and projects under the Green Transformation and Green Growth Master Plan for the 2024-2030 period”.
More than 50 leaders and key officials from the city participated in this training. Participants gained an understanding of the concept of green growth, the overall structure of the master plan, and practical methods to implement programs/projects in three areas: green lifestyle, green transportation, and green urban infrastructure.
The training received positive feedback from the participants, with 96% appreciating the practicality and usefulness of the program. 100% of the participants committed to applying the knowledge learned in their daily work to contribute to the sustainable development of the city.
The training also emphasized the role of the community in implementing green projects. Leaders were encouraged to promote and drive community involvement in environmental protection initiatives.
The leadership training on Green Transformation and Green Growth in other areas of the master plan, including green tourism, green industry, and green agriculture, will continue to be held in early June 2024.
